Wow! Our classroom is full of AMAZING writers!!! After observing nature and learning about the craft of similes, students wrote beautifully descriptive poems about nature using at least one simile. Students are bringing their poems home to share with you, so make sure to read them and celebrate your wonderful poet!
We ended today with a publishing party where friends shared their nature poems with one another and heard specific compliments about all of the incredible choices they made as writers!
