After putting incredible care into our nonfiction writing, it was finally time to make our books. Students chose their book structure and got to work! The creativity in our room was contagious!!! Kids made images pop, they made paper, they cut doors, they made books within books and even boxes to hold their beloved books! We are so excited to celebrate our hard work by sharing our books with each other and by having a publishing party tomorrow! I can't wait to show you their awesome books at our conferences!

Thanks Ann! I can't wait to share your comment with my class! We kissed the corners and thought deeply about the structures we chose, just like you taught me! You'll have to come in and make books with us sometime!
