During reader's workshop, we have been reading poems to inspire and feed the poems we will soon begin to write. We have also become collectors of deliciously descriptive words. When someone finds a "delicious word", they add it into their writer's notebook to help them strengthen their writing! When someone reads an inspiring poem, they call out, "Poetry Freeze!" and everyone stops and listens as they read aloud the amazing poem they found. This work will help us become even more AMAZING readers and writers!!!
