As we get deeper into the year and our work gets harder, it's nice to remind ourselves that we can do ANYTHING we set our minds to! Kids have been writing positive messages to themselves in the little "Positive Affirmations" books Ms. Paula gave us!
Each student chose two statements to share with the class. We then made playing cards with these positive self-talk phrases. Finally, it was time to play, "Uplift" (Also known as "Go Fish")! It was the perfect way to end our week. And then we danced and signed "Firework" of course, for "Firework Friday"!
