After working hard to research, then write about their animals. Students were ready to make their information books! Students explored pop-ups and then dove into making their books. In addition to writing their books, students worked to add nonfiction text features that will help the reader understand their animals even more deeply. We can't wait to finish and publish our amazing books!

After that, students explored how to make different kinds of pop-ups, then decided if they wanted to add that as a detail in their books.
FInally, we were ready to start making our books!
We can't wait to publish our books and share them with each other and with all of you!!! Their animal nonfiction books are so special, and beautiful, and full of such incredible information!
