Every year we have a fourth grade theme song. This year, our theme song is "Welcome to the Family", by Michael Franti. We listen to the song, hold it in our hearts, sing it, and dance to it. We also did a close read of the words and created posters of the lyrics that hold meaning and importance to us. This song reminds us that we belong and that we are a part of a special community.
We love surrounding ourselves with positive messages and our incredible artwork! We also can't wait to learn our song in American Sign Language with Ms. Paula!!!
